BET Sunday Best season 6 winner Tasha Page-Lockhart releases her national solo debut project titled Here Right Now. This marks the first full length release on the Fo Yo Soul Records imprint headed up by Kirk Franklin. The eleven-track effort features a diverse mix of great music that showcases the power, dexterity, and versatility of Lockhart’s voice that won millions of fans en route to her win of BET’s hit singing competition. She teams with Maroon 5’s PJ Morton on the track “Yours” as well as her famous mother Lisa Page Brooks on the quartet-driven song “I’m Living”. Led on the strength of her Top 30 single “Different”, this new project is a powerful national introduction for the Detroit native.

JENNIFER MEKEL: Great God

The state of Ohio has been home to some of music’s greatest talents. Another of music’s great gems hailing from the Buckeye State is Jennifer Mekel. The singer, songwriter, and worship leader presents her sophomore release titled Great God. For this new release, she continues her partnership with producer and songwriter Doobie Powell, who produced her 2012 debut project Destiny Live. The combination of Mekel and Powell have incredible musical chemistry which is evidenced on this new release. This 17 track effort is highlighted by standout singles such as “Unbelievable”, “Forever”, and “Great God”.
